Voice for the Army, Support for the Soldier

Our Chapter was Founded in 1959 and Serves the Tristate Area

The Major Samuel Woodfill Chapter of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) was founded in 1959.  We are an all volunteer, 501 (c)(3) not for profit organization that actively supports local Soldiers and their families through charitable donations, scholarships, community and veteran outreach and dedicated participation with local, regional and national Veteran Service Organizations. If you want to support the troops, you have found the right organization. If you know a local soldier or their family that needs help, please get in touch with us.

Our chapter area is roughly defined from Sidney, OH in the North to Portsmouth, OH in the East to Covington, KY in the South and back over to Connersville, Indiana in the West. Within our Chapter's geography lie the major cities of Dayton and Cincinnati. We serve the following counties:
Indiana- Fayette, Union, Franklin, Ripley, Dearborn, Ohio and Switzerland
Kentucky- Boone, Kenton, Campbell
Ohio- Darke, Shelby, Miami, Clark, Preble, Montgomery, Greene, Fayette, Butler, Warren, Clinton, Highland, Pike, Hamilton, Clermont, Brown, Adams and Scioto

AUSA represents every American Soldier, Active, Guard and Reserve, by:

- Being the voice for all components of America's Army
- Fostering public support of the Army's role in national security
- Providing professional education and information programs

Our chapter is one of the most highly decorated AUSA Chapters in the country. This is especially unusual due to the relatively small size of our chapter membership and lack of a major Army installation in our area.  Our dedicated members make it happen.  Please consider joining us or making a donation to support local Soldiers and their families. Your donation is tax deductible.
